CXP Team Recruits Industry Leaders to Execute Innovative Business Model to Accelerate Business Growth and Development of Professional Services Firms; Completes Institutional Capital Raise
Audubon, PA (PRWEB) December 13, 2011 — Cross X Platform (CXP), an innovative services company with a business model that is created to accelerate professional services firms’ capacity to scale and deliver sustainable client results, announced the company’s appointment of multiple new executives to drive growth and deliver the company’s vision to market.
Today’s announcement builds on the company’s momentum as a leader in the Business Accelerator and Shared Services Platform space, with the recent completion of an institutional capital raise.
Expanding their team of industry leaders, Terry Williams (CEO) and Christopher Betzler (CFO), have recruited Bob Lucci as the company’s Vice President of Sales Operations. Mr. Lucci brings more than 20 years of increasing sales velocity within high-growth firms and is responsible for the support and enhancement of CXP and portfolio company sales programs – strategy, staffing, deployment, performance and delivery. Prior to CXP, Mr. Lucci spent eight years at Trion, serving as their head of sales operations and COO during the company’s growth from $30M to $75M. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lucci served at two-time Inc. 500 Award Winner HealthDrive Medical and Dental Practices where he led the company’s East Coast and Midwest expansion. Mr. Lucci also worked with Akamai Technologies, a Forbes’ Dynamic 100 company and CEO Magazine’s Broadband 50.
CXP has also attracted recruiting veteran, Tim Wanner, as Director of Recruiting Operations. Mr. Wanner brings more than 25 years of experience in building and managing large recruiting teams and recruiting operations in IT, Professional Services, and Business Services and is responsible for leading all day-to-day recruiting and sourcing operations for CXP. Prior to CXP, Mr. Wanner held the position of Director of Recruiting Operations at TWC, where he helped grow revenues to over $14M. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wanner was an Area Vice President and Director of Recruiting for Alliance Consulting, (acquired by Safeguard Scientifics) and responsible for resource and operations management for the largest of its branches – with over $35M in revenues and 185 consultants and 17 sales and support staff. Prior to that, Mr. Wanner held the role of Director of Recruiting at CoreTech Consulting Group, where he helped the firm grow to over $45M and gain recognition as a member of the “Inc 500” in 1998 and 1999 as one of the fastest growing private companies in the United States.
CXP has also extended its leadership team with the selection of Christopher Mengelas Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Mengel is a serial entrepreneur with 20 years experience building private/public companies, and leads all marketing efforts, including brand development, corporate communications, and the execution of online and offline marketing programs for lead generation, demand creation, and brand awareness to accelerate demand for CXP and its portfolio of companies. Prior to CXP, Mr. Mengel served as President and Founder of a Washington DC-based strategic consulting firm that combined recruiting services and marketing solutions to scale and realign emerging and mid-market clients with revenues between $3M and $75M. Throughout his career, Mr. Mengel founded six companies across recruiting, business incubation, consulting, local advertising search, and has also served as head of marketing for three separate companies with solutions across content management, IT, Web design, software development, and online education.
CXP also announces the hiring of Katherina Cook as Associate. Ms. Cook is responsible for developing, implementing and managing aspects of the company’s corporate marketing initiatives across business development, trade show and conference preparation, social media development, market research and demand generation – and provides concentrated marketing support to companies in the CXP portfolio. Ms. Cook is a former Lockheed Martin intern and graduate of Penn State University.
“We are very fortunate, especially in this market, to attract such a high level of executive leadership and talent to the CXP team,” said company CEO and Founder, Terry Williams. “With this team in place, and our initial portfolio of companies set to be announced in Q1 2012, CXP is now in position to execute the vision of accelerating the growth and development of our portfolio companies.
